Ran into an old friend, and I ask her what’s new, and she shows me this new tattoo of hers. I immediately thought of you, and asked to take a picture. She says this was done stick-and-poke while she was drunk. Makes me sad. She’s such a nice girl, and it sucks that this happened to her.

“She’s such a nice girl, and it sucks that this happened to her.”… what? It’s such a gorgeous tattoo. I think I love stick and pokes more than any tattoo, there’s something so lovely and real about getting something permanent on your skin in shakey handwriting and 3am, instead of in a font picked from a selection of 1000 on a computer screen at some white washed studio by people you have no connection with. Maybe I’m overly romanticising it but whatever. I like it, I really really do.

I love it, its such a great tattoo!

^yep agree with that second caption.

That’s because you’re all fucking idiots. You’ve never actually had a tattoo, have you?
Picking a font off a computer? No. Any artist worth their salt will hand draw up their script.
White washed? As opposed to what, a dirty living room with an unsterilized sewing needle? ‘White washed’ means CLEAN AND STERILE AND YOU WON’T GET AN INFECTION.
You are completely romanticising this bullshit. It is not heartfelt, sentimental or meaningful. It is a drunk mistake someone made when they were too impaired to realise what they were doing was dirty, dangerous, and not to mention aesthetically displeasing.
I tried to ignore this but considering I get a handful of notes every hour because another dozen fucking stupid soft grunge blogs have reblogged it, it’s getting hard.

well you’re romanticizing stick and pokes. it’s not sterile at all and can cause a blood infection. so no, i totally disagree. you should always get your tattoo done at a professional artist. but still, i think it’s a lovely tattoo.

its a nice fucking picture you guys get off your periods

Just because someone is young and pregnant or has already had a child, that does not mean they are going to be/are a bad parent or that they are a slut or a whore.

Okay, I’m going to break this down because this is what bothers me most about any post I have ever seen about pregnancy or young mothers. You can read this or ignore this, your choice.

look at the way he holds her. look at his facial expression. it’s as if he feels like if he lets her go, it will be forever. his desperation to stay holding on to her is simply rare. he’s holding her with the intention of never letting go. he needs her. and this is what I find beautiful.

some hug me like this ok thx

Don’t stop chasing.
I think that one of the biggest reason why relationships do not work out in the long run is because at one point, one side (or both) stops trying. Before one claims another person as their significant other, they would do anything to make that person happy. They would chase, they would flirt, they would be charming. They would send daily morning and goodnight texts every time you wake up or go to sleep. They would write corny messages and pick up lines just to make sure that there is a smile upon your face. But once they claim you as theirs, all of those things eventually stop. The 5 page texts slowly turn into 1. The constant calls turn into not calling at all. And the lovely endearments turn into daily arguments. In order for a relationship to work, don’t ever stop chasing. Just because the person you want is now consider “yours”, it does not mean they deserve anything less than the time when you’re trying to win them over.
